Would it make you cranky? Or would you be just as happy?

If you can give me a star. If you can't skip it.

I'd be starving for some conversation by the end of the 3rd day. But I don't think I'd be overly cranky. 4th day I think I'd be going a little nuts though.

I have gone more than three days without talking to anyone. Not that I did it on purpose, that is just how it worked out. I didn't get cranky. There's a saying: "Go with the flow." That is what I did. Now my husband and I are back together, so there is always someone to talk to, which is good..

I do that all the time. Especially in the summer months when I rarely go out. Sometimes it 5 or 6 days. If I didn't go get my mail at the office where I live it would probably be more like once every week and half when I go to the grocery store. Thats why I spend so much time on YA I guess.

I could go 10,000 days with out talking to someone, but only if I had to. There would be alot of people I would miss: yes possibly cranky, depending on many factors of course.

Sure I can do that, and have. I know it's probably hard to imagine, the way I chat on here, but I enjoy time alone.
It's refreshing and I love the peace and quiet. Usually my children call me every day but at times they are busy at work or home and can't. I will sometimes let the machine get it and not talk to anyone for awhile ( unless, like I said it's my kids)
I love people but I also require solitude at times.

Last month I didn't talk to anyone for 24 hours, even on the phone. I emailed my sister the next day and told her. Of course a few of those hours were for sleeping but it was okay. I don't think I could go for three days without talking to anyone.

I could easily go three days without talking to a human other than myself. Sometimes I tend to be a bit introspective anyway and get solitary. But I still talk to my cats.

I could go three days without uttering a single ord, and still be perfectly content. But, why did you post this in the Senior Citizen category?

Give me a good book, music, and a quiet, thinking environment, and I could be perfectly content for a week without talking to anyone.
