Of your list, number 4.
4 drives 2, which benefits 3 and 1. So 1, 2, and 3 better by default.
5 is subjective and irrelevant.
Most important for me is an understanding of the Constitution, the duties of the office, and desire to uphold such. Number 1 is included in the Constitution.

All 5 issues you mentioned and if a candidate is lacking in ANY of those 5 especially the LAST one, I will NOT vote for them.
1.We need to stop Islamic terrorists and it isnt going to be easy.
We NEED to secure our borders not make it a highway for illegals and terrorists to walk right in.
2.We need to put a cap on the Medical industry and their runaway billing as well as the insurance companies, we need a FAIR taxation 10% sales tax no income tax!
3.We need social programs, better yet we need to OVERHAUL the ones we have and get the dead beats off of them!Too many people are abusing the welfare system.I am not talking about the elderly or the disabled.Im talking about the able bodied party hoochies making all the babys we tax payers have to support. I say when a girl goes to the welfare office because they are pregnant and cant support themselves they should sign a waiver to allow the doctors to tie their tubes. This will ensure she doesnt make more babies she cannot take care of.It is NOT societies place to pay for her mistakes. Also ,people who are on disability should be able to own a home, that way the governmetn wont always have to pay rent for them.
4.First freeze prices, jack minimum wage up to 10 doallars an hr and THEN and ONLY then talk about a tax incentive!
5.Roe vs wade should be overturned, lobbyist should be booted out, the governor of each state should send in a request every quarter for his state.\
EVERYTHING voted on by the president, the senators and congress should NEVER be in a package EVER again that should be illegal.Everything should be LINE ITEM VOTE!
Last but not least, The voting records(explaining the bills their names and not just the number of the bill) of every senator and congressman for their last term should be printed in EVERY newspaper of their district 6 weeks before election, then 3 weeks before and one week before. If voters cannot make an educated decision based on THAT then there is truly no hope for our nation.

I would hope to find someone who has the integrity to carry out their fiduciary responsibility to "preserve, protect, and defend" the U.S. Constitution. I don't have much hope of that, however.
By the way, the president is *not* our commander in chief...
Article II, Section 2, Clause 1:
"The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Office, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment."

The title Commander in Chief does not pertain to #s 2,3,4, and 5. Only #`1
My priority for electing a Commander in Chief is that he be prepared to defend our country against all enemies - foreign and domestic.

This election my priority will be in electing a Commader in Chief that can lead this country in a different direction and restore our respected status Worldwide. Then everything else will fall into place.
Edit: Thomas V-Where did you study American History? The President is the Commader in Chief.

The term Commander and Chief only refers to the leader of the military. That is not his title to civilians.
Someone strong in their convictions and has new ideas for an America that needs to be fixed. No more of the same old politics.

Well, I can't pick one issue as being more important than the others. I vote for the man or woman I believe is best suited to govern the country as a whole. A president shouldn't be make or break on one issue...if that's the way it is, I'll vote for someone else.

Priority would be very careful in deploying our troops...we take orders and don't question the jobs we have to do. We stand ready to defend our country and are proud to serve.
The president has to consider the cost in lives and money when he sends us to war.
