Hi! Yes it is true I am afraid, and of course Jimi killed it! As he did with every song he borrowed from other musicians. Jimi could play the guitar, and he did not sing it worse than Bob anyway, I mean how could he? A little joke about Mr. Dylan there. He can write good songs though, I give him that! Yes Bob Dylan wrote the Song, As a matter of fact of all his songs he has sung that the most. Jimi Hendrix was a long time Dylan Fan.

Yes Bob Dylan wrote that song. All Along the Watchtower is my favorite Jimi Hendrix song, and I was stunned all those years ago to hear he hadn't written it. Dylan's version can't even compare.
