Five years ago this Christmas my now ex boyfriend gave me what he thought would be the perfect gift--a duffle bag filled with supplies in case there is an earthquake. It had been a tough year, and I had gone out of my way to spoil everyone, and yet there it was--this crap gift that he thought was so wonderful. He couldn't understand why I was so cold and frosty toward him after that.

I finally gave up on Christmas presents my friends think I should have, like:
the "Pocket Fisherman" - I don't fish, and even if I did I wouldn't use it.
warm winter coats - it isn't that cold out here
formal clothes -I don't go out that much.
cologne - I don't smell, do I?
another watch - I already have three
Now I just ask for money and it works every time.

Hmmmm I really don't know, I guess video game, I don't play them anymore, but even that as a Christmas gift was pretty plain and boring.... oh well.

Truthfully, another bath robe. I understand that there are really good deals on bath robes during the holiday but just because it is 50% off doesn't mean you need to buy it.
