Do you think you would have any friends on your list?
I always support my friends.....do you support yours?

I try to be friendly but maintain a sense of fairness by not getting too close so I can keep a good perspective and answer as honestly as I can.
I wouldn't care if somebody gave me a thumbs down, because I'm not here at YA to make friends and form a community of buddies. I already have a life, and while I find this area very very stimulating, people's responses are not all encompassingly important to me that my feelings are on the line for everything everybody does or says.
I think it's particularly unfortunate, however, when thumbs down are given for a simple opposing point of view.

Honestly, it never occurred to me to go finding answers that my contacts gave and give them a thumbs-up just because they are on my contacts list. What an eye-opener. I only give a thumbs-up to answers that I think adequately answer the question or raise an important point. I thumbs-down people who give non-answers, who attack the asker on a personal basis, or give blatantly false information. Whether or not the people are on my contacts list is a non-issue.

I dont really have any friends on here, but I'm sure it would be a lot of nasty messages going around if people could see who gave them a thumbs down!

Yes, I would still have friends. I always give them thumbs up when I see them answer a question, even if I don't like their answer.
& If we could see who gave everyone thumbs down then we would be troll free!

I dont have any one on my friends but I think it would cause alot of drama if you could see who gave you thumbs down

If i could see people who gave me thumbs-down, i will never give them a Thumbs-up.
