Brings some fun memories to mind and don't you just love it, when it starts snowing.

I miss those days.

Thanks for the memories.

The last time we did that was back in 91... in Germany... found out what real schnapps was! We had a split level home and it was my daughters last Christmas before leaving for college so we cut this monster of a tree... when my son cut the wrappings loose all the branches flew out and broke just about everything in the room... you should have seen the looks on our faces! My poor son was buried in the branches we watched from the landing upstairs! Live and learn! had to cut the back half of the tree off!

No tree or any decorations this year I'm afraid... too pooped to pop any of them up!

Yes. We have a large artificial tree that we usually put up but we didn't have room for it this year in our living room. Also we have 4 kittens and a rather large puppy running around so we opted for a small live tree that we could put up on a table. My youngest daughter and I took a walk around the property and found a 3 ft. tree. It kinda looks like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree but we had fun spending time together looking, and I guess that's what really counts.

No, Morgan, but really miss doing that! Here in coastal GA where I live now, it's either buy one that was cut who knows how long ago or have an artificial one. Finally got tired of watching our trees go bare before Christmas and went for the artificial.

Definitely not the same!

No, nothing here to cut but those nasty sharp needled scotch pines and the prickly finger sticking junipers. I go for the noble firs already cut, they are soft and nice to decorate, and don't hurt me. But we do have the cocoa when we decorate it.

No, I took it out of the box, unfolded it, sat it on the table and plugged it in.

No, but I lit my own pine-scented candle! Struck the match and everything ... all by myself!
