I think that you should do neither. If he is going to give you 100 dollars, just spend it on what you like. If you want you could make some savings for some new cloths. You use the savings for the new cloths and use your 100 dollars for the hair thing. If you don't feel right about having your hair permanently straighten, don't do it. Hope this helps!

Well, I agree with one of the previous posters...a friend would straighten your hair for less than $100. Clothes are going to cost more than $100 (depending on what brands and where you shop for them).
So- heres a third alternative....Put $50.00 in the bank to save and take the remaining $50- go to a movie with some friends, buy some songs for your iPod, and enjoy being 14!

I'll just suggest dont waste it to "permanently" straighten your hair... how permanent can it be! You're hair grows back wavy! Surely you'll enjoy some new clothes or something more! Good Luck with your decision.

you could buy a Chi straightner - it works really well and costs $80. Just use that. I heard permanently straightening your hair is only 6-mo/1-year.

You can get your hair straightened for a lot less money. Go with the new clothes to match your wavy hair.

Honestly, open a savings account and hold on to it until you can match it exactly. Then spend 100.00 while leaving the other 100 in the bank. Before you can spend more, not only do you have to put back the 100 you took out but you have to match that as well. Every time you spend money, you put it back and match it before you can spend more. Don't spend money till you have money...Follow this and you will be a wealthy person in the future.

if you are truly considering PERMANENTLY straightening your hair, you need to see how it looks straight. if you really want it like that then it sounds good. I think it would be a better idea to use a hair straightener every morning for $20, then buy some other things you would like.

Well, you should know that "permanent straightener" deals only last for about six months. Which sounds like a long time but, man, it goes by quick! I would spend it on a great quality flat iron that will "guarantee" straight hair every day of the year :]

WOW $100.00 is nothing really now a days if you know how to flat iron your hair go buy a nice flat iron and like a shirt or something.. Dont damage your hair coz permanent straighting will mess up your hair big time...

if I had $100 I would get a sewing machine. that's what I've been wanting though.
For you, well, do you want your hair to be straight? Sounds to me like it's straight enough. Wavy hair is pretty and more interesting than straight anyway. Plus that treatment can damage your hair.
I would go pick out some cute clothes if I were you.
