No! Just because they toast the sub there will not be any less calories!

There isn't any difference in the calorie count between toasted or untoasted bread. If you are looking for a healthy bread choose a whole wheat, grain or oat intead of processed white bread.

Toasting it wont make a difference. It has the same amount of calories either way. Toasted ir untoasted just get it the way you like it most!

toasted v. untoasted is literally that - they toast the bread for you. It doesn't change the calorie content of the bread. As long as the bread isn't toasted to the point where it's carbonized (black), there's nothing unhealthy about it.

Well, I don't know if EVERY Subway does it the same, but our butters the bread really heavily and then lays cheese on top. THEN they toast it. If you ask me that right there is a caloric bomb. Tastes GREAT! But REALLY bad for you. It kind of defeats the purpose (or at least the purpose I have in mind) of a Subway sand which.

Although, if your Subway just tosses the plain bread into the toaster before assembly of the sand which then you are just fine. Heat can't add calories.

Toasted or untoasted are the exact same in terms of calories.

Toasting does nothing much to the bread in the way of calories. If you like it toasted then go ahead and get it toasted. =)

There are no real differences in calories. Technically there are a few less calories in something toasted as it has been partially burned off. However, it is maybe 3-5 calories less, nothing that makes any difference.

no, no more calories... but, for instance.. if you got a meatball sub, you should get the bread toasted! it's so much more delicious that way... I mean, think about it... You're just heating up the bread, right? So why do u think it would have more calories that way? It's not healthier either way. If you get wheat bread that's best for you...
