about a month and a half a go, i started taking the birth control yaz. this is the first form of birth control i've ever taken, and i'm starting to notice some changes.
usually, when it's around the time for my period, my breasts get very tender and i can just sense my period. however, i am no where close to having my period, yet i'm having these symptoms.
has anyone else experienced this or anything like it?
when does birth control usually start taking effect on the body?

Yes, I experience breast tenderness as a result of being on the pill.
As for when it takes affect, it take up to 3 months for it to become fully effective although when used for pregnancy the company says one is protected after a week.
I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
