Me and my husband got both our dads custom 2008 calendars. For each month, there is a different picture of us or the family at a gathering, or at Christmas or something.

This might sound lame but Batteries or Batteries with chargers. Men never have batteries when they need them and can never find them either.

Less lame: Food ( candy/cookies etc) something he doesn't get much of but likes. ALLLL the men I know want chocolate for Christmas! ( well one wants fruit cake but i'm NOT going there lol)

My father wants Hersheys dark, My brother in law asks every year for raisinettes, and my brother wants oreo's and Dr pepper ( and he is 28!)

Don't think you can go too wrong with that.. maybe even something made by you! :)

omg if you go to walmart.com you can upload pics of yourself with them or with just the children and apply it to a mug or puzzle, to pin, to ornamte... it's a great personal gift! I got my grandfather a puzzle of all the grandchildren. my mom a coffee mug with all the kids, and my dad a mousepad of all of us for the office! it's great! good luck!
PS i think the calendar thing the girl above me is talking about is a walmart thing also!
