The article basically alleges that the Dolans are looking to buy out the shares of the Knicks they don't already own, thereby taking the team private. And what better/cheaper way to do that than to first devalue the franchise as much as possible.
Makes sense to me. At least, it's the best explanation I've heard so far why Isiah has not been fired. What do you think?
