I believe in some kind of God but I don't believe in religion

I have absolutely no idea. I do believe there is a higher power, so to speak but as for a GOD, not really.
I don't really get the whole Jesus thing either, he was just a regular guy in a village or what ever and married and had kids and all that and then he was hung just like people were back then and before he died he uttered the words "I'm dieing for all mans sins" or what ever....I could do that but people would laugh at me, what makes us believe to the fullest extent of our being that he is greater then anyone else who lived among him? I don't get it.

Yes, but I don't regard the Creator as an old white guy with a long beard who presides over 1 religion & condemns anyone who doesn't belong to that particular tradition.
"God is too big to fit inside just 1 religion"-- bumper sticker.

I believe in a higher power not the god you believe in. I believe in Christs teachings but not the money industry it begat. I profess my beliefs while I walk in nature and see the wonders of it.

What kind of sick God would stick us here on this planet with no better set of instructions than don't kill, don't steal, don't lie, don't worship anybody but me!! Apparently its okay to kill Iraqis and other 'terrorists' Religion is only good for starting wars... its an outdated concept whose time has come to be abolished..... all religion everywhere.
