Kerry Rhodes not making the pro bowl is an absolute travesty. He is argualby the best safety in the league! dont believe me, look at his stats in comparison to the guys who made the pro bowl:

Kerry Rhodes: 62 tackles, 5 ints, 1 sack
Bob Sanders (he deserved it): 87 tackles, 1 int, 2.5 sacks
Troy Polomalu (only made it cause of his name, had a mediocre season at best): 52 tackles, 0 int, 0 sacks
Ed Reed (decent, but rhodes was much better): 33 tackles, 6 ints, 0 sacks.

Not to mention rhodes has been the team leader of the defense especially since vilma got injured. THis is terrible, for the 2nd year in a row they choose a big name guy who did nothing in comparison to rhodes and he was shunned (last year john lynch made it, when rhodes had more tackles, int's and sacks). it is just pathetic. and also rhodes forced 2 fumbles, recovered at least 1 and has 1 defensive touchdown, which is more than the other guys can say.

btw i agree that barnet and woodson deserve to be more than alternates.

one more thing to throw in just cause im a jets fan: leon washington should be the pro-bowl kick returner. i understand why they gave it to cribbs, but leon was about .5 ypr behind him, and is the only guy with 3 kick return touchdowns in like 6 years (last year hester only returned 2 kicks, but he had 3 punts and a missed fg).

Antonio Gates, who hasnt done anything in 2 months yet still starting over Tony Gonzalez? Thats a complete joke.

Also, Koppen gets the #1 vote at Center when his team is ranked 14th in rushing? Ridiculous.

Cromartie and Merriman.

While I can understand the sentiment of voting Sean Taylor in, I don't agree with it. I think voting him to the squad is one thing, but I don't think he should take up a spot. I realize a substitute will be announced, but it should have been 53 to the squad and not excluding someone who is actually eligible. I mean no disrespect and I like how the Redskins and the League have honored him and his death was tragic, but excluding someone who is still playing is not the way to do it.

I think Wes Welker got overlooked..He is over a 1000 yards for the season and is one of the hardest working players I have seen......

As mentioned above...It is just a popularity contest..And Welker is the #2 WR behind Moss (For NE)...Easy to get overlooked I suppose....

I heard no one from the Jacksonville Jaguars was named to the Pro Bowl.

Among AFC Quarterbacks David Garrard has the 2nd best QB rating and is 9th in completions and attempts, 8th in completion %, passing yards and passing touchdowns and 7th in yards per game.

Among AFC Runnung Backs Fred Taylor is 10th in rushing attempts, 4th in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns, 8th in rushing yards per game and 3rd in rushing average.

Among AFC Wide Receivers Reggie Williams is tied for 2nd in yards per reception, caught the 2nd longest pass and is tied for 7th in receiving touchdowns and Greg Jones is 9th in yards after catch.

Maurice Jones-Drew has the 10th most kickoff returns yards and 5th highest kickoff return average in the AFC.

Dennis Northcutt has the 6th most punt return yards and is 2nd in punt return average in the AFC.

Sammy Knight is 12th in solo tackles in the AFC and has 5 interceptions..

Paul Spicer is tied for 9th in sacks in the AFC.

Reggie Nelson has 4 interceptions.

Since Jacksonville leads the AFC in rushing yards per game and 4th downs made.their offensive linemen should get some recognition.

Brian Urlacher, he is the best linebacker the league has seen since the Samuri. He's not even a reserve.
