You are a virgin, therefore you have nothing to worry about.
The ONLY way your doctor would know ANYTHING is if you had sex 24-48 hours OR you told him.
So, let the doctor know that you are pretty sure your hymen is broken, but you are still a virgin.
And, your mom doesn't need to know. If you don't want her in there, then she can sit in the waiting room for you.
Frankly if you are still a virgin you have nothing to worry about and you can have your mom in there if you want her help to ease your nerves.

You may have broken it, or at the least tore it slightly. No, a gynecologist won't discuss the matter with your mother. A gynecologist can't tell for certain if you are a virgin anyway. The hymen isn't a tamper proof seal, dear. It can be broken in many other ways than sex, and how much of it is even present varies from woman to woman. The only thing a gynecologist can tell for certain is if you have ever had a child, which causes visible changes in your cervix. They may assume you are a virgin, based on your behavior during your exam, but that's not proof one way or another. And virginity refers strictly to your having been penetrated during sex, not the presence or absence of a hymen. No matter if it is or isn't there, if you haven't had penetration during sex, you are still a virgin.

It is not uncommon for athletic girls to lose their hymen before they have sex. If the bleeding has stopped and you do not have any other symptoms you should be ok. If you had anything else, such as abdominal pain or discharge you need to go to the gyn. Whether the gyn informs your mom really depends on age. If your 13 the gyn will not tell you mom, its a doctor/patient thing. Generally, younger than 15 the doctor prefers the parent to be involved, but there are exceptions.

They will not test for STD's unless you ask for those tests. They do not even know you are having sex unless you tell the doc but you MUST tell the doc everything so he can look for problems. There is not real need for you to be seeing a GYN when your regular doc can write you scripts for birth control but if the appointment is all set up then keep the appointment. You also DO NOT NEED to have you mom with you in the exam room. You are certainly old enough that you can tell her you want to do this alone. They will not tell your mom you have been having sex but if you take her in the exam with you she will hear you tell the doc you are sexually active and will know. You must tell the doc the truth. Also if you have had sex you would be wise to get tested for ALL STD's just to be on the safe side.

The gyno will be able to tell if you have had sex by things other than your hymen, but you haven't so thats nothing to worry about.
The bleeding could be "spotting", or bleeding between your periods/ during your cycle. It's pretty common in teens.

The doctor should not tell her because the hymen was broken due to some climbing. It is true that the hymen can be broken by sports and activities such as climbing, bike riding.

You should go to the gyno who, by the way, can not disclose any information about you with your mom. When you are in his/her practise, ask for a confidentiality agreement and that they explain everything to you about your rights. This is done to ensure that young women will get the attention they need, regardless their parents consent, instead of getting a disease that could have been treated on time, but that didnt' because they were afraid their parents would find out.
I'm telling you this because I'm a mother and the least thing I would want is my daughter not taking care of her health for fear I might find out. ;)

The doctor can't tell your mother that your hymen is broken. Like you said, that isn't always an indication that a woman isn't a virgin so don't worry.

No they shouldn't tell your mom. Besides, they understand that sex isn't the only thing that can break the hymen. What you say to them should be completely confidential when it comes to this.
