ok so what is that charts name that you need to be able to see if one element is able to replace another... if you dont know the name could i just have the list

Activity series, electromotive series (as someone else pointed out), or you may have encountered a table of standard reduction potentials.

usually if you look at the element's valence you can find out...if they both have negative charge or both have positive charge, they should be able to replace each other

this is known as single or double displacement depending on the type of reactants you have.

idk what u mean by "replace..."


are u talking aobut teh periodic table? then ther is the list of
Polyatmoic ions and also table that has ionic chages on it.... please specify what u mean by replace? are u talking aobut ionic and covalent compounds? Molecular mass???
