My Beardie is a little over 3 months old, but is only 6 1/2 inches long! He is an enthuastic eater, and very lively. I feed him mostly dusted pinhead crickets, but ocassionaly he gets a wax worm or two. Am I doing something wrong? Or is he just small??

That is pretty small. Check your setup:

At least a 40 gallon breeder sized tank.
Heat bulb--temps 105F for baby
Basking log/rock
UVB reptile light-changed every 6 months and within correct distance.
No loose substrate which can cause impactions.
Daily misting/bathing a few times a week.
Salads of correct vegies/fruits
Crickets well gutloaded and dusted with Calcium/D3 4-5 times a week, multi-vitamin once a week.
Check up by a reptile vet for parasites--very very common in beardies and one of the most common causes of poor appetite and growth. Follow your vets directions regarding parasites.
