Lol, you're going to have to learn to do this sooner or later instead of just relying on yahoo.... it's pretty essential stuff.

Basically though, just try to get the n by itself by adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing BOTH sides by the numbers.
Ex: 3n+5=6 is the same as 3n+5-5=6-5, so 3n=1
Then you divide both sides by 3.

Reverse the equation, 6= 3n+5
6-5=3n+5-5
1=3n
1/3=3n/3
1/3=n

get the variables on one side and constants on the other

3n + 5 - 5 = 6 - 5

simplify

3n = 1

divide by 3

(3n)/3 = 1/3
