I think of the three years our family lived at Point Loma Lighthouse (the newer one). We lived there in the early 90s when I was a little girl. It was so neat to have a lighthouse in our front yard. I remember those days fondly and would love to go back and visit one day.

I think I'd love to go and live in it like the lighthouse keepers used to, I read a lot of Famous Five books when I was a kid, so therefore have a tainted opinion of lighthouses, caves, castles and derilect ruins! lmfao

The great summers that I've spent in the Hampton's at my parents summer house and the times that we would go out to Montauck to see the Lighthouse.

it was a dark and fowl night in the storm tossed sea and a voice of a lonely sailor could be heard apon that sea .but behold was that a light shining far off .yes it was its the light of mariners the lighthouse is showing us the way home.and so children that was the story for tonight now off to bed .
