I have made them with whole wheat pancake mix, and they were good.

I never met a pancake I didn't like. Used to have Buckwheat at my grandparents farm. There is a place in TKO, AK that has GREAT sourdough. Wife used to make buttermilk but alas, they are all high in Carbs and I am diabetic now so I eat very few anymore.

I used to love spudnuts also. Those are donuts made with potato flour.

OK, I am going to go test my blood and cry for a while.

Yes, whole wheat as well as buckwheat and love them both. Can't believe something so good for you can also taste good but I guess with added butter and syrup, the advantage is off set somewhat.

2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2teaspoon salt

I've had every kind of pancakes and I love 'em all! I like mine with peanut butter and lots of syruple!

When I was a kid on the farm we had buckwheat pancakes quite often. Raised our own buckwheat,too!

Yes I have, but do not care for them. I do like buckwheat pancakes, they are my favorite.

No,but isn't flour wheat any way?Well maybe yes.Mine are always white in color(with brown edges)....

Yeah...we have Ploys up here in Maine. They are made with buckwheat flour and are Acadian in origin.
