Intellectualophobia, yes.

Also because Fox News is staffed 50-50 conservatives and liberals and they ask everybody tough questions that get to the bottom of the issues.

The rest of the networks are staffed 5-95 conservatives vs. liberals who ask liberal candidates questions like, "Do you prefer diamonds or pearls?" while asking Republicans to explain their stances on gay rights, letting their pets hang their heads out of car windows as they zoom down the highway, hiring people to do yardwork, etc.

On every other network, Democrats get a break. On FoxNews, they treat EVERYBODY the same.

There's only one lie that Fox keeps telling that I actually hate; the lie that Fox reports news. It doesn't. Fox is the American 'Pravda'.

Because it is the last bastion of a media outlet that they do not own, and cannot control with liberal propaganda

Because it's not news and doesn't have anything to do with the truth. If you can't see the outright bias on Faux, then you must have your whole head in a barrel of kool-aid.

It is funny how folks constantly surround themselves with what they hate, isn't it? More Liberals watch Fox News than Conservatives, to make it the most watched news channel in the USA. That's hysterical!

No. I think it has something to do with Ann Coulter being given the floor to call all who disagreed with Bush's lie-based invasion, traitors, cowards, and communists.

Then there is the litany of fear based lies and smear campaigns that Fox News ran against anyone who dared to speak out against Heir Bush.

The next time neo-cons are looking for allies, they should try not to insult people when they do not see things through the Bush goggles they are wearing.

I'll never turn to False News again after being an avid watcher for years prior to their Stalinist turn. Neo-cons and the Jerry Springer crowd can have them.

To answer your question;

I believe they are frightened by the fact that there is another outlet for people to get their news that does not have their liberal slant to it. That people have a CHOICE, to watch something else.
