These were Bill Clinton's words today in an interview. He said that when Hillary was President this would happen. Is there any truth to this and do you think Bush Sr. knows yet?

Bill will make an excellent ambassador but Bush? Its like putting a cat in a dog pound. I am still laughing at just the thought of it.

Bush Sr. released a statement this afternoon saying the idea had never been brought to his attention and he would not be interested in a reconciliatory trip because he feels the US has continued to be a beacon for the world.

Bill seems to be pushing hard for headline this week. I wonder why...

Well, seeing as George H W Bush hasn't commented on it, I would side with it being as yet false. US relations, despite what some leftists will have you believe, are fine around the world. Germany, France, and England all love us. Otherwise, they wouldn't have elected officials that love President Bush.

I hope it's not true. No one with the last name Bush would be a good choice as a good will ambassador.
