& consider you naive & say if you don't know then you shouldn't experience it? Ex: I asked a question on here about politics & voting, & people said that if I don't know about voting, then I should NEVER vote. Also, the people here called me dumb & a conservative, mocking liberals, when I asked about comparing & contrasting them.
***Ex: People also feel like if I have to ask a question about pregnancy & childbirth, then I should NEVER have kids. If I don't know how to play a card game-Spades & wanna learn, then I should NEVER play. Why are people so narrow-minded & act like you don't have a right to learn, grow, & experience? & also, if I experience something new, like buying a car & get taken advantage of, then they call me stupid & say I shouldn't have ever bought that car & that I should NEVER buy or drive a car again. When I ask questions, people say, "Read the fine print" or "You answered your own question." I'm disabled with comprehension problems-why I struggled in school.

I've been think the same thing myself, actually. Like, Yahoo! takes points away from you every time you ask a question. Subconsciously, that makes you no longer want to ask questions at all. Yet it is through questions that people learn and make breakthroughs in things in the world. Asking questions tends to be discouraged, but that makes no sense. I really have no answer for you, but I just felt like getting that out there, :D

The are only two ways to learn---- listen, and if you don't "get it" that way, ask. That's it---easy! The people who hassle you for asking, might be teachers, or professionals, or contemporary "know it alls", but---guess what--they're the dopes!
One of the finest things about maturing, or in some other way gaining self-confidence, is that you begin to realize that just because someone is older, more educated, more experienced, whatever than you--- doesn't mean that their opinion is true/accurate/right. After all, it's just an opinion!
What I am talking about, and advocating, is called "critical reasoning", and it is something that comes with age, maturity, experience, etc. All of those things put together equal "wisdom".
So, don't let anyone put you down. Simply by virtue of the fact that you have asked this question, and expressed your frustration with these types, indicates that you are light-years ahead of them.

Just ignore those people like I do. No one knows your own brilliance and experience but you. Stay focused and keep learning no matter if asking a question or answering one.

Because these people are sadistic jokers who get a sick pleasure out of building something up and then smashing it down again especially other people.
Or because they were just in the same boat and feel like an idiot and are angry at themselves so take it out on others.

Well because lots of people are really stupid.
This is a forum to help people, but some people just use it to make others feel bad and compensate for their sad pathetic little lives...so who cares about such people.

Those people sound dumb.
Asking questions is great, it helps you learn. That's why this site is so popular. Don't listen to anyone who calls you dumb.

a pair of motives possibly: 1st-possibly the two certainly one of you had asked the comparable question yet in distinctive methods (the wording of the questions might desire to have been distinctive) 2d-possibly the form of words used (you be attentive to, like employing the "information superhighway language" somewhat than actual English spelling) third-(and doubtless the closest actuality) with the aid of fact maximum all of us is bias morons that purely think of that ladies folk are dumber than adult males and could have a dumber answer just to make themselves sense smarter. purely my evaluations, of course.
