Who told you what you could and couldn't eat? Your doctor, or did you read it on a handful of websites? My doctor gave me a list of meds I could take which means everything else I have to get his consent, but he never told me what to eat or not eat, so I realized one day that I was limiting a bunch of stuff based on what some people on some websites were saying. If your doctor didn't give you any limitations then you don't have any... just use common sense. I don't do caffeine just because I want to see if I can do it for nine months. I eat deli sandwiches whenever I want, fast food sometimes, tuna, other types of fish, etc. If you have a question or something seems like it would be dangerous then ask your doctor. He will probably be a lot more forgiving than you think!!!

There are a lot of food that you can't eat during pregnancy. For a complete list I would recommend the book, Your pregnancy week by week.

I think most doctors will tell you to limit your caffeine intake to one or none a day. But, I would drink one soday occassionally and my baby is great.
I don't really like sushi or fish, but there are some you cannot eat.
Certain kinds of cheeses are not ok either...like the kind that is in Ceasar Salad Dressing.
NO Alchohol!
and I dont remember anything else, I would just ask your doctor for the things you should definitely stay away from and then I think you will be okay
relax and enjoy your pregnancy!

I kept eating all of my favorites I was so scared at the start stayed away from sandwich meats....sodas...fast food..i only ate the real healthy foods....but then I started to get cravings...and I have eaten some fast food, drink a coke once a day....eat the odd sandwich with deli meats....but have stayed away from sushi because that is the one thing that my dr did tell me to avoid....other ways my dr stayed keep things in moderation...a limite myself to one caffine drink a day....the dr says my baby is healthy and doing fine...hope this helps a bit

i'll be honost, I ate whatever I wanted while I was pregnant and my baby is very healthy. I just tried to eat fairly healthy and not to have too much, soda, coffee, or fast food. Just use common sense. Chai tea should be fine, black tea is okay to drink.

I'm your mother's generation. We didn't have all the restrictions on what we could eat. Moderation and common sense should be your guidelines. Reduce your salt intake, so limit the fast food (even if you aren't pregnant.)

Worry and stress will do you far more harm than one cup of coffee.

If you are feeling well and your doctor is happy then just drink that water and enjoy being a mother to be.

I will be 26 weeks as of 12.19, and I eat whatever I want. Your body will tell you what to stay away from. For me, it is greasy foods, like Long John Silver's Fish and Chicken, Tacos from the local Mexican restaurant (meat is way greasy). I eat out for lunch everyday, Sonic, McDonalds, etc. I cook supper at home in the evening for my family and eat with them. I have to have (at least one) drink with caffeine in it. My OB is aware of my eating and that I have not cut out caffeine, and she has no problems with it. Eat what you want, dont let people tell you what to eat (unless there is a medical reason they are telling you to do so).

Eat what you want...when you want...how you want....as long as it is eatable. Yes you will be told what not to eat but everybody is different so your body may not agree with the next person. But make sure that if you crave something you get it because if not my mom said that the baby will have a birth mark of whatever it was...lol

You should eat vegetables, whole grain cereals and bread, drink milk and eat dairy products(yogart), drink lots of water, don't drink a lot of tea or caffeine drinks because it lowers your iron level, take your prenatal vitamins.

Just continue eating what you want, just make sure to drink lots of water, orange, apple juice and always milk. Try to eat lots of veggies as snacks and fruits. Other then that, just eat what you want, just make sure your child is safe
