I have to do a project over 10 important events of people in Europe in the 1400, 1500, or 1600's. so far i have done Christopher Columbus, and Hernan Cortes. Can anyone give me 8 more other peole or events I can research. Thanks.

Leonardo DaVinci of course - he defines the renaissance

Charles V, king of Spain and Holy Roman emperor early 1500s.

Elizabeth I of England and events leading up to the Spanish armada of 1588.

William Shakespeare

The fall of Constantinople in 1453 is a very big deal.

The last major episode of the Black death (bubonic plague) and the London fire of 1665 and 1666 respectively [ because
I like English history].

St. Bartholomew's Day massacre of August 1572 is a major indicator of the savage strife between Catholics and Protestants in Europe

The beheading of Charles I of England in January 1649 - - they actually killed a divinely ordained monarch (WOW).
It was the beginning of the end of absolute monarchy in Europe though Louis XIV of France would still define absolute monarchs in the latter 1600s and absolute rulers would persist until the Czar was killed in 1918.
