the pill would be my choice it's been the most effective with the least side effects compared to other forms of birth control. From my experience the shot plus side is you don't have to worry if you forgot to take it. it's more convenient than the pill. A down side with the shot at least for me was that there was always a light spotting and before the shot i had a regular menstrual.

Neither for me personally. But the shot is poison. It makes you gain weight and be a moody cow. The pill is not much better, not as much weight gain but I was still moody. The pill is the lesser of 2 evils.

Pill....shot...worry abt going to get it,GAIN weight, be swollen at place of shot, and hurts like a *itch

as my dr. told me, the thing with the shot is, they can't "take it back" if you have bad side effects. that's a three-month commitment. at least with the pills, if you have problems with them, you can stop taking them.
