How do you make this past tense sentence into present tense?
"His possessions are destroyed."

Would it be:
"His possessions is destroyed."?
The word, "is," is present tense but, "destroyed" is still in past tense.

It IS in present tense - saying "His possessions WERE destroyed" would make it PAST tense ;););)

no.
The sentence is already in the present tense.
Destroyed is not in the past tense in this case. It is not being used as a verb.

the only way to make destroyed present tense is to say "destroying" which cannot be used in this sentence unless you say "She is destroying his possessions"

You have to make destroying the verb to make it present tense.

anyway, the sentence is in the present tense already.
