Well easily throughout this year, the best 2 QB's have been Brady and Romo. The 2 best WR have been Owens and Moss..

Yet both times against these same Eagles, though different results, they shut down each QB's number 1 receiver.

If you needed to beat the Pats and Boys in the playoffs is shutting down Moss and Owens the way to do it?

Any other ways they can do it?

Could the Pats actually lose? I think so.

10+ to best answer.

honestly, i see no crowding/disrupting the wide receivers route enough of the time when it comes to playing these teams . . . . im not saying that they should do it every play but they should do it more often than i actually get to see . . . . . now when it came to the Eagles almost beating the Patriots, that is exactly what happened, plus, they got pressure on Tom Brady which is crucial if you want to win a game against them . . . . . . thats why i say that when the Patriots play the Colts in the playoffs, thatll be their first loss, assuming everyone is back from Indy . . . . .

hope ive answered your ?

lates & peace!

Did the Patriots lose?? No so they were not shut down. They still won. Something some people didn't realize was an idiot coach left he mic on when it should have been shut off. Which gave away key words for the game. Anybody with a great memory could easily take those word and know exactly what moves the Pats were going to make. I think a couple of weeks and they were able to make and remember the new words. No more screaming LInda and Rita!!
Remember the patriots change their game plan every week.

Here's the deal both teams didn't get up for the Eagles while the Eagles did for them. Honestly nobody knew who the QB would be for both games.

The Pats were preparing for McNab not Feely.

The Cowboys also probably didn't know which QB they were seeing.

It was more that the Eagles offense surprised everyone and was on the field longer. I think Brady may have only played 5 series the whole game. And the Eagles had the ball alot more than the Cowboys

Watch out for the Jax Jaguars I think they have the Defense to shut down the Patriots, but really EAgles will be watching the playoffs from home and too bad they didnt shut down other teams like they did against the Pats and the Boys.

With the cowboys, it was a bad game for the Dallas O. It shouldn't be repeated again this year.. with the Pats, I dont think the Eagles came up with the idea, just executed it tops.

people who ask this question should be hit..... if they found a way to shut down the pats..they would have won or the pats would have lost to another team....get that through ur head

there is no blueprint to beat them since they havent been beaten yet
