There is a large number of people with far more religion than common sense or intelligence who will vote for whoever is promoting the "right" religion. These people are seemingly unaware of the First Amendment and see nothing wrong with surrendering their freedom of religion as long as it's to someone who pretends to be a saintly religious leader. Mixing politics with religion is always bad, no matter how good the person's intentions may be. It's even worse when the politicians are cynical hypocrites who do it only because they know that those voters are the most gullible and easily swayed.

whether this is actual that George can heal the ill, turn one loaf into many, stroll on water and forgive the murderers of our fellow individuals, he can no longer do any of those issues without the consent individuals his committed and obedient apostles. we are a republic, and he could get permission from all individuals followers to accomplish any miracles, or do any forgiving. You published between the stupidest questions I even have considered at right here in a super on an identical time as. what makes you think of that Christians stick to him. What makes you think of that the ideals of taking good care of the undesirable, the ill, and forgiving are democratic ideals. What makes you think of that a republican won't be able to hold the comparable ideals? flow lower back to the DNC and communicate a extra effective approach to discredit the republicans and the president of u.s., then come back right here and cutting-edge your theory in a properly concept out way., without besmirching, Christians, republicans or each and every guy or woman who carry the values which you presented on your question.

Being fake at anything crosses party boundaries. It is hard to be both a politician and an honest Christian. Jimmy Carter managed to do it for the Democrats and Ronald Reagan for the Republicans.

you asked a good question only then to spoil it with petty partisanship.
To answer to a degree the liberal-left launched such an unrelenting onslaught on mainstream Christianity in particular during the 60s and 70s , the heartland was left vulnerable to be mislead by false leaders. The neocons , themselves mainly atheistic Trotskyites and Straussians found the playing of the faith card an easy tactic.
In that sense the US is quite reminiscence of the inter-war Germnay where many ordinary people felt besieged by the ideological brethren of the lib-left, i.e. the Marxists.
They too became susceptible to an individual who claimed to stand in defense of its values but in truth was part of an occult movement with links with Skull and Bones - the NWO and even the Bush dynasty.
The most important backlash came -not from the left -but from the true conservative right- thsi may well be also in case in the US

Good question,I have been asking this since Raygun was elected. I guess the answer would be most gop voters are themselves good christian people who are hoping that the wolves in sheeps clothing they voted for are actually christians who share there values.Im just flored that they cant see how fake these demons are. I fel the last true christian to sit in the oval office was Jimmy Carter a democrat and Gerald Ford was probobly the last true gop christian president.

As a Democrat I don't believe that using the word "fake" in this question is fair. Just kidding. But seriously, many people who are Republicans do not care about what is necessarily fair, they care about this acronym WWJD (What Would Jesus Do). Frankly, in extremely religious people's mind, the choices Jesus would make and the words of God are all that matter.

Because the Right Wing Talk Radio Hosts along with Fox News have brain washed Republicans into whom they think Republicans should vote for. The republicans being the Good Lemmings they are, follow the Right Wing Talk Radio Hosts and Fox News over the cliff.

Please don't tell me you are serious. And, don't tell me you are Christian. No Christian would judge whether or not another is real or fake by the politics or actions. We are all on our own path. One may be behind you today, but miles ahead of you tomorrow. As for following Republicans, maybe some just like to keep their money instead of giving it to Democrats to pay people to stay home and play on YA! all day.

Once, getting people to follow Republicans who talked like Jesus but behaved like the antichrist took some mighty spin. They had to hold out their forever ineffectual stance against abortion to draw millions into their thrall. --And in spite of their very unChristian cutting of social services, very unChristian support of war, very unChristian hatred of certain individuals within society, very unChristian support of capital punishment and the NRA, etc., people reacted to the one hot button issue that seems to mobilize them.
I am against abortion too. But ya know what? I realized decades ago that this is one of those issues that the court will settle, not any politician. Conservative candidates LOVE the abortion issue being forever unresolved so they will always have it to whoop up the voters. If they ended abortion tomorrow, no one would suffer like neocon candidates for office. Their main toy would be taken away, and they'd be forced one step closer to dealing with the wreck the GOP has made of the US dollar, and the fiasco of the war.
Now, it doesn't take mighty spin to convince people to vote for the antichrist in fake Christian clothing. The electorate is bloated, satiated, drowzy, indeed sleep-walking, drunk on celeb news, lying talk radio and junk TV. America has gone stupid. That simple.
