I have alot of old jeans that are waaaay to big on my now. I know how to make a purse, wallet, and skirt out of them already. But is there anything else thats cute that i could use them for? Even if its only part of the project(ex, cutting down the back of a stuffed animal and sewing a leg to the inside for a backpack)
And instructions and/or websites would be greatly appreaciated to! Thanks!!

(I already know of threadbanger, craftsters, and instructables)

I have begun to cut my jeans into 4 or 6" squares, then I plan on sewing them back together with a good 1/2" seams and then snipping the seams so they raffle. You have to wash them a few times. I am either going to make a quilt throw or recut into a jacket. That is my goal.

i used to make denim vests from old jeans. i just used a pattern and laid it on the jeans and cut it out and then sewed it from there. they are allot of fun to decorate. i would sometimes work the seams or fancy stitching into the design of the vest.

have fun.

A jacket perhaps? I'm not sure how difficult that would be, just a thought.

A pillow or possibly a quilt?

I made a travel tote with the part above the crotch.
Or you could cut the legs and make totes from them, or bags for dirty laundry when traveling or for college kids.
