Considering monthly cost. I dont really care about how fast it dries, just want to know which is cheaper in cost for the monthly bill, a gas or an electric.

gas
it is faster and requires so much less maintenance
i had to switch to electric where i am now and it is SOOOOOOOOOOO much slower even brand new

Gas is much cheaper then an electric dryer on the monthly bill.

I agree that electric dryers do not leave your clothes as soft as gas dryers. Electric dryers take longer to dry clothes too.

I think that gas clothes dryer press your clothes better by allowing more heat to the fabric.
