I'm a Republican, but when you go and bash other sides, it just makes things worse. There are different parties to make laws more effective and have different opinions.

Well, if neither Labour or the Conservatives reach a clear majority in the next election, the Liberal Democrats will pretty much hold the balance of power.
Anyway, politics isn't just about the national level, it's about the local level too - and the Lib Dems have control of a number of councils.
If you're looking for parties that are a waste of money or time then check out the BNP, Ukip, Veritas, the natural law party...

Should have been Chris Hulme though...

The best type of leader is one with a good team around him.
Nick Clegg as leaders has excellent supporting players such as Huhns, my choice, and Vince Cable.

By the was all through the past stormy time on the financial front, we heard plenty from Vince Cable but hardly a word from the Tories.

That tells you what happens when the LDems have a skilled economist getting the shafts into the Govt.

The object is primarily to allude to the fact that VOTING offers choice. In a two party system, we haven't had a 3rd, or write in elected in many dozens of years, but the system pretty much states that we can, if enough support was mounted. Do I really believe that? Nah... I WRITE IN often. This year I may submit one for Alfred E. Neuman? GREAT Q by the way. A star for you.

Forgive this... Note to Harriet. Thank you for the 10, but your Q is as related to this one, as might be, "what's your favorite color?"

Religion, and how it was expressed by the poet, in a personal sense, should NEVER deny, others, their belief system, although it seems your statement (paraphrased) they can BUTT out, could be interpreted as pretty unaccepting, and intolerant of others. The fact that they name their GOD differently, or adhere to their belief system differently than you or I, shouldn't strictly allow anyone to condemn or deny them their faiths.
Sadly you don't allow e mail or IM, or I would have taken that route.

I ask the asker of this Q to forgive me, and hope all of you enjoy Christmas, or whatever holiday you celebrate, and good on you all, beyond that.

Rev. Steve

When I heard the name Clegg and that he had been an actor, my immediate thought was that the womanless idiot in "The Last of the Summer Wine" had got the job.
