when i opened Itunes, there was a pop up prompt asking if i wanted to download I tunes 7.5. i said yes, and it lead me to the apple website. i hit download, and it started. a new webscreen popped up that was like "Welcome to I tunes!" and had stuff like how to set up an account. i canceled it cuz i wasnt sure. if i download it, will i loose everything i have stored on my itunes that i have now???

LOL, no, it the songs you have will automatically transfer to the new version of iTunes you download...but...you will probably have a hard time getting used to a newer version; I know I did! When I first got my iPod, the version of iTunes that I had was too old, so I had to download a newer version; it took a while to get used to but I'm alright with it now.

Nope! You won't lose a thing when you update iTunes to a newer version. The update doesn't affect your music and videos at all, just the iTunes software used to organize and play them. Go right ahead!

you should always backup any data you wish not to lose 1st. and set a restore point; you never know
