Toy manufacturing? The Galilean telescope (positive objective lens and negative eyepiece) has long been obsolete as a serious instrument and is probably used only for low-power toy telescopes and field glasses.

Pirates used them. Or the Galilean concept of seeing something from a great distance. : )
