I have a lot of problems with these questions, myself. Most of the time I don't answer them, because most of my answers are smart-aleck comments that don't really help the situation (really, the only answer is, "Of course you could be pregnant, so please see a doctor!"). It also particularly bothers me that so many of these women are asking idiots like us, instead of seeing a professional, like they should.
Although, I do have to add the comment that I believe MANY of them don't have sex ed in school, or from their families.
As an example:
I got pregnant at 15, and had my daughter when I was 16. I knew how it worked, but like many teenagers, thought it just wouldn't happen to me. In order to finish school, I was enrolled in the local Teen Age Mothers program. The program was intended for high school students, but there was an eighth-grader in the class (there was nowhere else for her to go, poor thing).
On a regular basis, we'd have a public health nurse come in and talk to us about pregnancy, delivery, infant health, etc. One day, the eighth-grader asked the nurse, "I'm really embarrassed to ask this, but how did I get pregnant?"
Her parents had not allowed her to enroll in the sex ed courses at school, and for religious reasons, never discussed it at home, in any way. She honestly wasn't certain if it was because of the sex, or if it was because she kissed a boy while she was wearing a bathing suit. All she had was rumor and innuendo, and no real facts, but all the same, found herself pregnant at 13.
In many places, and for many people, sex education is not acceptable, as it is viewed as giving young women the knowledge to do what they're not supposed to do.
It's a sad state of affairs, really.

Well, during the victorian age, more children were being born to each family AND the family was more involved with each other.
Also, Sex education stops at having sex, it doesn't tell you what will happen after you get pregnant.
I didn't know what pregnancy signs were except you got big boobs during the pregnancy. I instinctively knew that what I was feeling was pregnancy.
some people just need assurance or for you to hopefully agree/disagree. There ISN'T alot of PREGNANCY EDUCATION unless you have already conceived and you are attending some class at the hospital. OR maybe some women's studies college course.
If you don't want to answer the questions then just continue browsing the lists of questions until you find one you deem an adequate use of your time.

This is a great note. I wish people DID pay attention.
And what's the point of asking online anyway? It's not like we can give them girlies a pee test through the computer.
I know it works for some, but personally, I REFUSE to have a child out of wedlock.
I hope maybe someone will change their ways after reading your post.

Those poor people (kids) have every right to post those questions. I'm sure they just need validation from others.
DO YOU KNOW HOW OLD THE ONE YOU JUST POSTED GETS......? If you don't like it, DON'T OPEN IT. Simple.

Amen sister. I don't get it either. I try to help but when I see 30-40 of these questions it gets frustrating. I also wonder why they aren't concerned about stds, vd's and AIDS. I would be freaked about that more than if I was pregnant.
