As 'jacks_insanity' here said, there are quite a number of everyday events which might suggest a certain influence of mind over matter.
A lot of electronics used to malfunction out of the blue whenever my Dad had a sudden shift in his emotional state (usually when he angered) - it's something that apparently has been passed to me too, even tho' I control my temper better than he does.
You are probably thinking about things literally flying through the air or moving from point A to point B without being touched. I do not personally know someone who does this on a regular basis - just a lot of stories I choose to take as being true.

allegedly. knowing him though, i'd believe it. he taught me some stuff about it. I've only been able to do a little bit, like alter my body temperature and altering the temperature of the inside of a pill bottle. I figure dealing with a little bit of particles is easier than, say, a chair. *shrug* according to yoda, it shouldn't make a difference, though.

I have seen a lot of people state as fact that telekinesis exists. I have never seen telekinesis demonstrated. I don't think anyone else has either. So then why are there so many people who are so sure that such a thing exists? Could it be because, um, it doesn't exist? I don't know...just a guess.

I wish I did. But to date, nobody has come forward with this ability (magic tricks notwithstanding) so I don't think the chances are good that anybody knows such a person. Keep the hope alive.

i took a really drunk friend home drunk one night his mother was furious she started ranting and raving and then grabbed her head and at that moment the glass in the picture frame next to her cracked. i was freaked out big time, he later told me story about once when she was pissed off she slammed her hand down on the wooden kitchen table and sparks flew out from under her palm and left a big scorch mark on the table
