I got a new ipod that replaced the one that broke and i got some free music that came with it and it showed up on the library and then i ended up downloading some of my old songs from my cousins computer and now i have like 1000 songs on my ipod but only 10 songs in my library ( from the free beginning music)
i wanna know how to put the songs on my ipod on my library incase anything happens to my new ipod

You need to download a program that rips your ipod, you cant copy from your ipood to your pc only copy from ur pc to your ipod. annoying.
You need a program to rip your ipod and then copy it your pc.

there's a way that you can change your preferences so that your ipod is like a memory card and it'll download the songs from your ipod into your itunes library. I've never tried it myself but I've read a few help articles on it so good luck :)
