One of my favorite CDs (that they no longer make) got stuck to an envelope (the sticky part) and I can't seem to get it off of the CD.

Any suggestions of what to do to clean it without scratching it?

Thanks!

I just wash them under warm running water. Use a mild soap. Dry with lint free cloth. When cleaning of drying always wipe across the disk, not in circular motion like you would with a dinner plate.

See reference for more detail.

Use some rubbing alcohol and the static free cloths that you clean sunglasses with.

Try cleaning it with water. That might do it.
