I sent a copy of my 401k plan was mailed to my new job at metlife and I called to check the status of it and they didn't receive it where do I go or what post office do I go to talk to somone about it?

You can go to the post office from which it should have been delivered, but if it wasn't sent certified then you're wasting your time. They'll take a report but as soon as you turn your back they'll throw it in the bin.

They're government employees, remember? They have no reason to care about you and your mail.

Have a new copy sent, but this time send it certified mail, or to be really safe use FedEx.

FIRST... they don't even take reports, but do accept claims for insured and registered items. Things get misplaced all the time and usually i't's on the part of the sender or reciepient, just they blame the PO for everything....
A hundred things could have happened, like the label falling off, or not enough postage... happend all the time. Just call and get another copy, the first one (If actually sent out) will probably beat it there though....

If it didn't arrive, the post office has no idea where it is; if they did, it would have been delivered. Contact the sender for another copy.
