Beryl is a mineral. No it won't deteriorate in 50-75 years. Think of the archaeological digs, jewels and other minerals 3000+ years old.

If they are good stones, real, they are just rocks. But who knows what the jewelers did to them? They may not look so good, but I would think real emeralds would not change at all.

Most emeralds have been "fracture filled" - and this filling can deteriorate or discolor over time.
