1. Cramps feel bad, almost like a stomach ache but lower and it can be in your lower back too. Its not so much that they hurt, just more uncomfortable.
2. You just shower normally. Your period stops in the water, well at least most peoples do. On your period, you should bathe or shower everyday. You don't need to do anything special, just make sure all of your body parts are clean. =]
3. anything between 9-16 is normal. So i guess beyond 16 would be too old.
4. Pads: you can wear them too bed so you can wear them for a long time. but during the day for hygienic reasons (don't want to smell) you should change them every 2-6 hours.
Tampons: MUST be changed every 4-8 hours. i also don't recommend sleeping with them because you could over sleep and get TSS.

so congrats, and i hope i helped =]

Cramp feel different for each person... it can range from the feeling of a stomach ache, or feeling like your muscles are tightening. you shower on you period just like you shower when your not on your period. most girls have their period by the age of 16. the amount of times your change a tampon or pad per day depends on the person... but you should change it at least every few hours. change it every time you go to the bathroom... if you are wearing a pad, it can start to smell if you don't... and a tampon you will feel it leaking, and then you know you should have already changed it.

Cramps when they occur can feel like someone is punching you in the stomach.

As for showering the water will hold off the flow for the time you are in the shower so it won't be messy. It won't mess up your clothes. You would take the shower the same way you would at other times. ( I have actually found that sometimes warm/hot (not hot enough to burn myself of course can sometimes be helpful with cramping)

The oldest that I've heard of a girl getting her period is 16 and this is normal for some depending on their family history.

I have to change pads about every 3 hours. With tampons when I wore them I tried to have it around the same amount of time.

I have the link to a site that may help you find even more information. It's at: http://www.girlshealth.gov

1) You can compare cramps to, some one punching you in the guts (repeatdly) or a really really bad stomach ache. I sometimes get the two confused really.

2) Your period actuly stops in the shower. isnt that amazing?!?!?

3) Too old??? I would think 17 or18

4) It depends on how badly you are bleeding. pads and tampons I change every single time I go to the bathroom. or every 2 -4 hours just to be safe!!

1. Cramps feel like a stomach ache, just a little lower.
2.Take your showere as normal. Be sure you clean "down" there last.
3. I would say 16 -18, but I really believe that it all depends on your family history.
4. You should change your pad/tampon about every 2 -4 hours. It really all depends on your flow. On average with my cyle I could usaually get away with 4 times a day. Each about every 4 hours or so.

Good Luck.

1. cramps feel like aching in your stomach, it can range from low-severe.
2. to take a shower with your period is just the same as taking a shower without your period. no worries there.
3. 18 is too old to not get your period, get checked out. some get it when their 16
4. it depends on how heavy you flow is to change your pads/tampons. if your light, make a few times, if you heavy it will be a lot!

Every woman is different and every woman period is different. Some females periods last 7 days some fewer. Mine last for 3 days only and I don't cramp. You take a bath regularly like you normally would without a period. It depends on your body everyone don't start at the same time your body will let you know when it is time. I know a friend that came on at the age of 11 and myself @ the age of 15. Depends on how much blood comes out of your body and you change them according to.

1. Very much like a stomachache except a /little/ lower.
2. You just shower like normal...any blood will wash down the drain. Most women don't like baths becuase the blood will just stay in the water but you can take one especially if the flow is light.
3. If you don't have your period by 16, that is the age you should check with a doctor's. But no age is "too old".
4. At least 3 times a day...sometimes as much as 8.

Remember each girl is different! But those are just my experinces. Good luck!

Cramps just feel like a stomach ache
Just shower normally.... wash down there last
No age is to old... as long as you get one... its OK
You need to change your pad/tampon about every 2-4 hours
Heavy period's should be changed about every 2 hours
Don't wear white/light pants when on period! For blood could soak through!!!!!
Always keep extra pads/tampons in book bag, purse, locker, etc.
Have fuN!!
P.S. periods are nothing to fret over.... just means you are becoming a young woman!!!!
Merry Christmas!
