The only stat that Winslow has this year that is better than Gonzalez is yards per catch. Please explain to me how that makes him more deserving of the Pro Bowl than Tony G.

How can you say Winslow had a stellar season and Gonzalez doesn't deserve a spot when they both have the exact same yardage and touchdown total? Plus Winslow has a fumble lost and Gonzalez doesn't. It's pretty much a toss-up between the two and Gonzalez has the history and is much more likable a person. That made the difference. And Gates has 9 T.D.s with only 73 less yards. Not much of a surprise he made it.

Winslow's and Gonzales's numbers are just about identical this year.
Kellen Winslow - 971 yards 5 td's
Tony Gonzalez - 971 yards 5 td's
Gates has less yardage but has more td's with 9.
Gates and Gonzalez are more popular so they got in.

Tony Gonzalez is like a trademark in the NFL. If his season is as good or almost as good as yours, he's getting in.
Gates is well respected, and stands to take over for TG if TG retires.
Remember, lots of people, including players, considered or still consider Winslow to be a spoiled little punk who had other priorities off the field during his first couple of seasons.

While I think Gonzeles should be there was shocked that Winslow was not.But the last 2 yrs for him is starting to place him in the top 3 in TE so next year might be when he starts his Pro-Bowl runs.
