wireless card what else do I need?

Ok i have a laptop that has a wireless card included. I am getting a Linksys Travel Speed Booster router. I have an internet connection on my home computer. do i need anything else? What do I have to do to get a connection at hotels? and even at home. please get back to me asap. thankyou! <3

When ou check in ask them for wireless connection details. If you want security you will need to set the router into WEP or WPA mode; then eneter the key that you generate on the router. You do this through the webpage of the router connection, usually you type this address in your web browser 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254. Once you do that; then you can enter the key for your wireless connection.
