At the dance she smiled at me and said Hi and waved at the same time and said my name while doing it. Here is how it went when I asked her out
The story starts out by my friend telling her I wanted to talk to her, she said hold a sec. Then she came over to me and stood very close and looked at me dead in the eyes. I said hey do you go out with anyone and she said no. Then I asked her does she want to go out with me and she smiled. She smiled like she was flattered. Then she tapped me on my left arm twice while saying" I'll have to think about that Cameron". I asked her if she wanted my numbeer and she said okay with enthusiasm. I gave it to her and she asked me did I already save it. But hen she did something that shattered my heart. In the hallway I came around the corner and she just walk to the other side of me, but when I came back she was talking to her friend. Then later in the day day as I passed her locker she looked up at me.

It means exactly that:
she'll have to think about it.

That's kind of diffucult to "decode" this girl's feelings towards you. But I'll try my best.

You have to accept that this girl possibly is using you. At that dance, the idea seemed great to her...at that time. She was just playing and to get your hopes up. Maybe her friends even dared her to go up and act like she likes you. Once she went up to you to impress her friends, she got caught off guard when you asked her out. Now this ties back in with she thought going out with you was right at that TIME OF THE DANCE.

Now, after that dance and into daily school life, she may view you as a "waste of time." (No offence. This is just how I'm seeing it) She has none of her friends around to impress and she might even be intrested in some other guy. You are merely some dude that asked her out at a dance. Why go into greater detail with him?

Don't get too down about this. There's other girls out there for you!

It really depends. I mean the majority of the time when a girl (I am one) says that she needs time to think about it, it usually means she needs time to make up an excuse or a way to break up with you. If a girl usually doesn't say yes the minute you ask then chances are she needs to talk with her friends about it, or she wasn't interested in you and you surprised her.

Your question [like most] can be answered without the litany of supporting documentation. It basically means she doesn't want to hurt your feelings, or hates confrontations. Either way, it usually means "no." Now that is not a bad thing. You asked and she said what she said. Your next move is to ask someone else. Do not make the mistake of waiting around for her to "think about it." Others are waiting...

Sounds like she's confused bro. But hey, you never know. Give her a week to call you. If she doesn't she was just yanking your chain. Some girls love seeing guys drool over them. They get a kick out of it, but its cruel because they play with your heart and that's not fair

Head games, they're horrible! It sounds like she likes the attention from you but isn't too serious about going on a date with you. Is she maybe playing you off against someone else, to keep her options open?

it means she could go either way or she is weighing up her options to see if something else will come along.
you should knnow by her reaction what she wants but if its not an answer straight away then sorry to say but i dont think she's interested. it sounds like she wants to be friends.
other than that, youre both at school and she probably isnt mature enough for an adult relationship.

She is either really thinking about it because she had not really thought about you before, or she has thought about you and does not want to seem to eager or she is trying to be polite and wants to let you down easy. although it is never easy. Any of these things are possible.

Did you get her phone number? If you did, you should follow up in about a week or so, but dont get pushy, you will push her away. Or follow up with her in person in a week or so. Just go up and ask her if she has given it much thought. Be prepared for the worst, but hope for the best.

That's a big fat NO. She's a nice girl and she likes you (as a friend) and doesn't know how to tell you, "NO"....or, she's really petty and wants to string you along....

Try and forget it. Even if she is a little interested, she's not interested enough. You should be with someone who jumps at the chance to be with you, and they definitely shouldn't have to think about it.
