First thing u do i is find the waste line from ur wash machine then depending on the material the pipe is made of you will have to buy an y line.
cut a space between the original waste line from the wash machine if u happen to be using pvc then u will have to clean
both ends of the pipe that have been cut and also the pvc y line add the glue to the pvc y line and attach to the washmachine discharge line.then connect the main dicscharge line to the pvc which has to be glued also.
next connect the dishwasher discharge and then u are done

Water pipe, no problem, if the machines are both cold fill only, a simple 'T' piece in the supply for the cold supply( often washing machines hot & cold, dishwasher cold supply only.
The waste is a different matter I have my sink and both machines on a 40mm drain, no problem. Simply, the drain from the sink goes to the wall, then bend down, then 'T' to left., then 'T' to right and out of wall. On each 'T' there are pipes going to a running trap (NOT a bottle trap) then to standpipes to bring the pipe to just below worktop level. Each machine waste then drops in to its own standpipe, creating a vacuum break for each machine, the machines do not affect each other, no problem at all.

Try a y connector drain pipe if you can find one. As for the water pipe...you did not say if the diswasher is portable of undercabinet...If it is undercabinet it will take a bit of connecting and dont rely on the "kit" as we tried to do...some pieces fit some dont.
I would only run one or the other not both together...my opinion..
The guys are right-T fittings...

Put a PVC plastic tee on the pipe, two elbows and your in business. Only run one appliance at a time so not to have an overflow.
