Oh sure, I easily have nicely-known of a woman in her previous due sixty's who sleeps along with her eyes open. I know people who sleep with their eyes part way open, but myself, I don't remember falling asleep when I do fall asleep, so how in the hell am I supposed to know if my eyes are wide open?

No, that's a comma. I've fallen asleep without realizing I closed my eyes and assume I open them at the same time, but it turns out to be an hour on.

Yeah. I fell asleep in my science class with my eyes wide open. It was a totally creepy when I was startled awake.

No! Who sleeps with their eyes open? If they slept with their eyes open, it wouldn't be considered sleeping now would it?

no i don't think so. i was knocked out a couple of times and was still standing with eyes wide open. it is a strange feeling.

YES!!! HAHAHAHA...that happened to me one time like...hmmmm...like 3 years ago. I was watching a movie at some friend's house when they were like, "Dude, you fell asleep snoring and your eyes were open..." It's possible...the only reason we close our eyes at night is to keep them moist so they don't dry out. You can fall asleep with them open, it's just your eye will be really irritated, like mine, when you get up...that's funny cuz it brings up memories!

When I was a child I was scared to close my eyes.
I'm no longer afraid of the dark, and I frequently sleep with my mouth (half-way) open.
