Definetly go with Trans-Siberian Orchestra. While much of their music isn't an amped-up Christmas carol, they have awesome renditions of some of them.
I'd reccomned trying "The Lost Christmas Eve" album.

I recommend you go buy the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's CD. They'll probably have it.
