How do I synchronize cover art with songs? Do I need to pay/ need an account? On my friends mp3, she can just get a photo from her own folder and synchronize it with any song. Can I do that? How?

In Itunes there is a very small arrow pointing up. Click on it and a window will come up right under it. Simply drag album artwork from your files or the internet. If you have an Itunes account you can go under advanced and click get album artwork.

Cover album art is automatic with itunes, you pay nothing and dont sign up for anything as said in the last comment in itunes there is a small arrow. On the very bottom left of the box of itunes there are 4 icons a plus, shuffle, repeat and a square with an arrow in it. Click on this to raise the box up for album art, then you can see album art. Itunes tends to update as much as it can, when you add files in but you can also add your own pics to songs by simply dragging the pic into that box.

Yeah you can do it from your own photos. You just go in iTunes and choose a song. Then go to Get Song Info in one of menus. Then you can drag a photo in the cover art box in that window. You can on a Mac anyway.
