I need a name for a type of person who is stubborn.

Like a caregiver is giving, rebels stuggle against the status quo, and a jester finds humor in any situation. I can't think of a word for a person who is stubborn.

Help please?

Metaphorically speaking, a donkey or a mule is stubborn. Otherwise, a plodder would be stubborn cos they just keep on going whatever. Hope this helps.
