Can you forgive your wife if she has an affair while pregnant with your child?

I should add: Our daughter is mine for a fact. Her affair happened in May and lasted the whole month. I wanted to work things out at the time, but she was very unwilling. Eventually she came around and decided to try to work our problems out. During that time we found out she contracted an STD from him which was passed on to me. Our daughter was born with no complications though in October. She says now that she is happy with me, she's sorry, she loves me more than ever, and that nothing like that will ever happen again. But lately I have been wondering if I really want to stay with someone who could do that to me. I feel like I love her, but to be honest I haven't really sorted all that out yet. I'm really confused about what to do.

Yes you can if you want to and decide to. Forget the cheating. if you love her and want to remain with her then do so. You are not the only one this has ever happened to and I assure you you will not be the last. The choice is yours. personally I would say if you love her stay with her and just forget the fact she was with someone else. never bring it up again.

If you can't then divorce her and make your child live in a broken home and pay child support for the next 18 to 21 years and not really know your child.

Your choice...are you man enough to forget it or not?

Pregnant Cheating Wife

If I was a guy and my pregnant wife cheated on me I would have a very hard time forgiving that. Not just because of the betrayal to me but also because of the danger she could be putting our unborn child in. STD's can still affect the baby.

I would also ask for a paternity test, just because if you have found out she is doing it once then there is no way of knowing for certain that you are the father.

If I did forgive her, like someone already said, I wouldn't forget! Those who ignore history are destined to repeat it.

Good luck and Merry Christmas

I personally wouldn't be able to at first until you get over it and just depends on the how much you love her. Some people can get over a hardship like that in a marriage while others can't and they divorce. It's up to you and how you are handling it and if you can ever learn to forgive, forget, forever?!

I'd call him up and tell him that you're so glad he decided to take on the responsibility of raising your child. Since you were so stressed about becoming a dad, now you don't have to worry about it.

Just for fun.

Then I'd tell your wife to ask her doctor if they can sew that thing up after the baby comes out.

I'm not a guy but no..... I know her hormones must be raging....but being pregnant with your baby should have prevented her from straying. Sorry, it's wrong and if I were you I would not be able to forgive her.

You should forgive...that's good karma... but you don't have to forget.

I would dump her in a heart beat.
