It is not the human right to decide who dies and who doesn't. Sadam deserved to be punished, but only god can say if he should have been put to death

Hell yes after all the people he hurt and the trouble he caused and all the soldiers that had to leave their familys and go over there for a while...He damn well should have been killed..... How many did he killed?? And then he doesnt he made people lose their lives .....People lost brothers fathers sons daughters mothers aunts and all and he gets a walk....I would torture him make him feel the pain he caused And I know the others are with me on this

Yes, the Iraqi courts have been hanging hundreds of people, mostly for very good reasons. Saddam Hussein was right at the top of the list of 'deserving cases'!

The death penalty is a pusssy way out in my opinion. They should have locked him in a tiny solitary-confinement cell, painted 100% white with a single light on the ceiling. I would f-ing go nuts.

I do not believe in the death penalty, but in the case of Saddam Hussein I would make an exception.

No, defenetly not! In the worst case scenario would have been an example not to follow from we could learn, and in the end nobody has the right to to a life away!

You should ask this question to the relatives of the thousands of people he had put to death. I quess they would say that hanging was to good for him.

i don't think he should of been put to death because he was the only one with enough sense on how to control the country and we gave him the stuff that killed his country men. he should of been imprisoned for life

I don't really know... It's hard to decide something like that even though he killed and tortured many people, who's to say we shouldn't just sentence him to life in prison?
Anyway, I always say "If you fight fire with fire, all you get is a bigger fire".
